Thank you for supporting local agriculture and investing in a CSA Membership with Fibonacci Farm. As your farmers, we are dedicated to providing you with fresh, local, seasonal food, and you, the member, wish to receive a portion of our farm-fresh harvest. We hope you are excited to secure an entire season of delicious and nutritious produce grown from our farm right here in Bend! As our CSA Member for the 2026 Season, we wanted to provide this agreement that will outline our shared commitments to that relationship.

How it Works

Introducing Our CSA Farm

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a relationship between our farm and you. Rather than simply purchasing food, our customers become “members” of this CSA farm who receive a portion of the farm’s harvest.

The duration of our 2026 CSA program is 18 weeks, from Wednesday, June 17th to Friday, October 16th. Last year’s collaboration with Boundless Farmstand was a resounding success; one that strengthened our commitment to the community and made for a wonderful experience for both farms and our wonderful members. It also showed us how much work running a CSA like this really is. From our twice a week chats about each farms produce availability, to the behind the scenes member management (pickup day switches, emails confirming sending friends to pickup your shares, invoice reconciliation, supplies orders, stocking the CSA to maintain freshness, and a number of other things), we were reminded that each avenue of sales - be it CSA, Farmers Markets, or Wholesale sales brings with it a very unique set of demands. In the hopes of simplifying their weekly commitments during peak season, Boundless has chosen to forego their CSA program entirely - meaning that for 2026 Fibonacci will be the sole farm responsible for administering the CSA. That being said, Fibonacci Farm will be purchasing from Boundless some of the produce that we were able to offer last year, but don’t necessarily work on our scale for completing weekly order fulfillment (cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli, carrots, basil, potatoes, etc)

The end result will be that as a 2026 CSA member, you should not notice much of a difference from how things ran last year and the produce that we are able to offer on a weekly basis. Additionally, we are working with other local vendors to offer subscription based and weekly add-ons for items such as meat, bread, honey, microgreens and mushrooms. These add-ons would be chosen on your normal order form and would be available for pickup at the same time you pick up your normal CSA share.

Our Growing Practices

Fibonacci Farm is not currently certified organic, but we can assure that we adhere to only organic and sustainable growing practices.

Our Shared Committments

SHARING THE RISK IN CROP FAILURE
We promise to do our best to provide you with a bountiful share each week.  The quantity of produce varieties available may vary from week to week due to extreme weather, insects, or other production factors despite our best efforts.  By joining our CSA, you are agreeing to share the risk of crop failure with us and other members.

Picking Up Shares

LOCATION AND PARKING
Members are responsible for picking up their orders at Fibonacci Farm, 62910 Eagle Rd. Bend, OR, 97701 (use google maps, do not use Apple maps, it will take you to the wrong location) anytime between 1pm and 7pm on your scheduled pick-up day (Wednesday).

Members will come to the CSA Pick Up (our converted garage) at the white house on the left of the driveway. Parking is allowed in the round-about and in the alternative parking lot located directly after the driveway to your left.

Our farm is located in an urban, residential neighborhood and we ask that all of our members are respectful to our neighbors by parking in the designated areas and not in their driveways. Please do not block the roads, please do not speed down the dirt road and please be respectful to pets and children in the neighborhood.

PLEASE NO DOGS: We have a small farm dog Sheldon, he LOVES humans and attention. However, sometimes he is territorial when he sees other dogs. We kindly ask to leave your pups in the car while picking up your shares.

SELF-SERVE: The CSA is self-serve and will be restocked and maintained by someone working on the farm throughout the day. Instead of boxing up your shares which takes a lot of refrigeration space, time and labor, we’ve decided on a Farmer’s Market Style set up. There is a commercial fridge for our greens and roots and all non-refrigerated produce will be on tables displayed in crates and baskets. Members will need to bring their own bags to collect their shares. Upon arrival, grab your phone with your order, look for your invoice in your email from your order and use this list to reference what you will bag up and take home.

TIPS FOR A SUCCESSFUL CSA PICKUP:

♻️ Bring Your Own Bag. We will have a paper bag donation pile where you can leave your extra used shopping bags for when you or someone forget to bring your own. We will donate to this pile as well.

🧍One-at-a-time at each cooler. We’ve noticed our 3 door fridges have sliding doors that only open one section at a time. In order to be courteous to your fellow members, it may be easier to use each cooler, one person at a time.

CSA Ordering Process

HOW TO ORDER:

Members will receive an alert 48 hours before their scheduled pick up to decide what items they will like us to harvest for their shares that week.

Share for Two Members will select 8 items and Family Share Members will select 12 Items. Once you’ve made your selection, your order will process at the weekly order cutoff. You'll receive another reminder on pickup day.

ONLY TAKE HOME WHAT YOU ORDERED:
It is VERY important that you do not stray from your order and only take home the items you pre-selected listed on your invoice. If you take home the incorrect items, it will affect our inventory and potentially cause your farmers to go back and harvest more items to fulfill another member's order. If there is an item out of stock at the CSA Pickup, please grab a walkie talkie from the west end of the Bodega and holler! We will be right out to stock whatever you need or answer questions.

MISSED SHARES:
We cannot reschedule a new pick up for you nor will offer any refund or credit if you do not pick up your share between the hours we are open on your scheduled pick up day. Missed shares will be boxed up and donated to the Oregon Food Bank. If you forget to pick up your share and we have to replace your food by reharvesting your share, this will come as a financial loss to the farm. Please make sure to reach out to farmers ahead of time if you believe you will not be able to make the pick up.

RESCHEDULING PICK UP DAYS:
If you are going out of town, we can reschedule an alternative pick up day/time, with advanced notice. For Weekly members, we can switch your pick up day that week and for Bi-Weekly members, we can switch your pickup week or day if needed. Send an email to hello@gofarmhand.com before your food is harvested that week and we will reschedule a new pick up time.

An alternative option would be to send someone on your behalf. If you send someone, it is your responsibility to educate the person you are sending about how the CSA Pick Up works. I have created a short document here that I would like you to send to your friend about how CSA pick-ups work. They’ll also need your order form so that they know what to pick up. If you fail to follow this step, it creates more work for us and could result in your being removed from our CSA.

Communication

We'll email you weekly with harvest items to choose from, along with recipes and news from the farm.

You'll receive another reminder when it's time to select your items, and on pickup day when your order is ready!
