Frequently Asked Questions

  • RISK FREE: If at anytime you are unhappy with your CSA, we will refund you for the remaining amount of your share. We also offer Vacation Rollover which prevents the member from losing out on any money for shares that are missed while they are on vacation.

FLEXIBILITY: Flexible pickup hours give you more time to pick up your share during the day. Flexible Share amounts create availability for households of all sizes. You have the ability to choose what you want instead of having your share pre-selected for you.

CONVENIENT LOCATION: Our CSA Pickup is located in the Mountain View neighborhood in NE Bend, OR.

PARKING: Have the same market style shopping experience at the farm without the crowds and without problems finding a parking spot.

QUALITY: The food tastes delicious and is exceptionally high in nutrient-content due to the high percentage of organic matter in the soil the food is grown in.

THE FARMERS: Have we met…? ;) Aaron and Lauren are both young, hip, city folk who love to have fun, care about the environment and grow some really good tasting food. When becoming a CSA Member, you can get to know your farmers better in order to give you a better connection to your food.

ACCESS TO LOCALLY AND ORGANICALLY GROWN FOOD: There are not as many small farms that offer CSA Memberships in Central Oregon as there are in cities like Eugene or Portland due to the difficult growing climate like we experience in Central Oregon. It is important for us to support local food suppliers while it is still available before we develop what is left of our agricultural land.

  • When you are signing up for your CSA Membership, you will be asked to pick Tuesday or Friday as your scheduled CSA pickup day. Members will not have the option to change pickup days during the season. Instead, we have incorporated “Vacation Rollover” as a way to accommodate members that are unavailable to pickup their share on their scheduled pickup day. Members will have until the end of the CSA period to use their “vacation credits” to purchase extra items through our “Add-On” App.

  • There are multiple options our members have if unable to pick up their share:

    1. Request Vacation Time: On our website, Members will be able to input which pickup days they would like to receive credit for when going on vacation. Credit will be rolled over for our members to utilize on our “Add-On” App until the end of the CSA Season. If your scheduled pickup is Tuesday, you will have until Sunday to request vacation time that week. If your scheduled pickup is Friday, you will have until Wednesday to request vacation time for that week.

    2. Send a Friend! This is a great way of sharing healthy goods with your friends, family coworkers and neighbors. Please onboard your friend on how to use the Pre-Selection Form and pick-up protocol.

All food that is not picked up will be donated to the Oregon Food Bank.
